Shri Guru Singh Sabha

Hailing from the Singh Sabha community, Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha is situated in Sector 7, Chandigarh. This is a historic Gurudwara which is visited by Sikhs from in and out of city on regular basis. Sector 7 lies towards the north end of the city near the Sukhna lake.

People believe that by visiting the Gurudwaras and serving here, they get closer to their guru.

History

This Gurudwara hails from the wide community of Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwaras which are located all over the world. People from far off places and from the city itself come here to seek the blessings of their Guru and to make ardass (their prayers).

Best Visiting Time

Although, the city residents visit this Gurudwara all year round and there are many people for whom going to Gurudwara is a regular practice but as far as best visiting time is concerned, any time except extreme winters in December & January, and extreme monsoons in July & august is good to visit the place.

Reaching the city of Chandigarh is quite easy through any means of transportation. The Bus transportation is very active in Chandigarh and you can find buses from nearby cities and states to Chandigarh. From Delhi, reaching Chandigarh is quite easy as one can find a state roadways bus every ten minutes.
